The Writing Process Behind The Book 'From Mission to Legacy'

Three weeks ago, we announced that we are writing a book—a book that is being channeled. Today, we want to go deeper into what is happening behind the scenes. How does it work?

To be lived, not just read

It is often said about writing a book: "You don’t do it for another, but for yourself." This book is no exception. However, as we have written the first chapters, we have come to the insight that this book should not only be read, but above all, lived.

This is where many books today fall short. Often, they are written primarily as marketing tools to generate leads or initiate keynotes, but rarely are they written with the intention to truly change lives and leave legacies. That is exactly what we want to achieve with this book.

Even if there is only one entrepreneur inspired to reach the core of themselves, discover their mission, and turn it into a legacy, then writing this book was worth it. From Mission to Legacy is a book written not from the mind, but from the soul and by the soul. The only way the ego has participated is by helping to structure, publish, and put it out into the world. For that, we are grateful to the ego. But we are even more grateful that the ego has not intervened to make this book ego-driven.

The Ego as a pure ally

We are grateful that the ego saw an opening in the soul to grant free passage, so that the soul can truly speak and flow from what it knows and feels. Experiencing this as a writer is remarkable. Sometimes, as an author of channeled books, you find yourself completely stuck or you feel: "What is appearing on paper no longer feels right." In this case, it was different.

For the first time, it was clear to the ego that this book is not against the ego, but a book for and with the ego. We don't need less ego; we need the ego in the right way in our lives. That is a major difference. We need the ego to structure, direct, and set things in motion here in the world. However, we want to do that from a perspective where the ego is aligned with the soul mission.

This is where things often go wrong. Without a deep integration with the ego, we see that books become amplifiers of our ego. That is exactly what this book does not want to be. It aims to be an honest reflection of what the soul itself experiences in entrepreneurship and in the process of writing a book—which is unique in itself.

The process of the soul

From Mission to Legacy is a book spoken by the soul. When you read this text, know that the following process preceded it: Mario set the intention to let the words flow from his soul through his mouth, bypassing the mind.

They are directly the words of his soul, recorded as an audio file and subsequently transcribed into a continuous text. This text is lightly polished for punctuation, but nearly 100% of what you read here is what came out of Mario’s mouth at the moment of the channeling.

It is important for you as a reader to realize this: this is a pure channeling with minimal interference—at least according to the consciousness we have. We feel no influence from the ego or other energies trying to influence the writing. We hope this remains so until the completion of the book.

Authenticity over technology

We are convinced that this book will resonate with those who value purity and authenticity. We find it important to share this part of the process because we have experienced that one can also write books through technology.

My first book, The Power of Manifestation, was primarily an aggregation of insights from courses on mindset, leadership, and manifestation. I gathered intellectual chapters and had AI (ChatGPT) build a beautiful story around them.

There is nothing inherently wrong with writing a book that way, and many books are likely written like that today. However, in retrospect, I saw that the book did not come from the heart or the soul, which is perhaps why it did not make the impact I had hoped for.

If this book makes more of an impact than the previous one, I hope it is not to stroke my ego, but because it is a book that sincerely moves other souls on this planet to stand in their business from their soul—or to write books from their soul. This brings forth books that are expressed from our essence, unfiltered by the beliefs, fears, or the need for recognition of the ego.

The soul alone cannot do everything on this planet; the ego and the soul are allies. We just have to ensure the ego is a pure ally that gets the soul's message onto paper undiluted.

A reflection on the week

We close this post with a short reflection on the past week. It was a week of highs and lows that touched me deeply, but also gave me the courage to connect deeper with my essence. Because of this, we are making time again to work on the book and complete it in an authentic way.

I am grateful for everyone who has crossed my path in recent months and showed me that writing this book is perhaps the most important thing I have to do in the coming weeks. Other things may have to be put on the back burner for a while.

What that means exactly, I don't yet know myself, but we will likely read about it next week when our soul speaks again.
